Council approves seasonal business license for She Shed Furnishings at Iron Mine Hill Road

Anne Marie Champagne, who said she operates the shop from a barn and refurbishes furniture, told the council the business will be seasonal, open Feb. 1 to June 30 and Sept. 1 to Dec. 30, operating Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. "It's just a little shop with used furniture, and home decor ... it's mostly a home business," Champagne said.
A council member moved to approve the license and a second followed. The council conducted a roll-call vote; Councilman Beauregard, Councilman Cristoforo, Councilwoman O'Hara, Councilman Punczak and Councilwoman Alves recorded "yes." The chair issued the license and wished the owner luck.
