• Payment of bills: The council approved payment of bills for March 17, 2025, in the amount of $2,827,545.47 (motion and roll call recorded in the meeting). The council also approved the consent agenda as amended (animal control and municipal court reports retained; two departmental reports removed for discussion and later acted on).
• Mulry Fire Tower contract addendum: The council approved Contract Addendum No. 3 with PARA Engineering for continued construction administration and related services for the Mulry Fire Tower project in the amount of $12,600 and authorized the town administrator to sign.
• Legislative priorities resolution: The council approved a resolution supporting the Rhode Island League of Cities and Towns 2025 legislative priorities.
These votes were primarily procedural and routine and did not, in themselves, change zoning or authorize large new capital expenditures beyond the contract addendum noted above. The Pinehill zoning matter remains under review and will return to the council after peer review and planning-board action.
