The Ross Local Board of Education approved a curricular purchase of HQIM English language arts materials for grades 4 and 5 and an updated school-fee schedule for the 2025-26 school year, the treasurer reported.
Treasurer Mr. Castaner described letters A through E in the treasurersection as grouped for a single vote. Letter A is the HQIM ELA curriculum purchase for grades 4 and 5. Letter B is the updated school-fee list for 2025-26. Letters C, D and E were routine monthly items, including an investment summary from Red Tree, a handful of donations the board approved, and a cash summary/financial snapshot.
Mr. Castaner said the smaller dollar figures shown in some contract documents represent existing spending that will be folded into consolidated contracts elsewhere on the agenda. Board members asked no substantive questions during the treasurervote and the package carried by roll call.
The treasurer's block vote (items Athrough E) passed unanimously by roll call. Specific dollar amounts for the HQIM purchase and the donations were not read into the public record during the motion and agenda materials are linked in the meeting packet.
