Resident says Lehi fiber handled simultaneous remote work and family streaming without slowdown

During public comment at a Lehi City Council meeting, a resident said the city’s current fiber internet service handled simultaneous remote work and family streaming without slowdown.

The comment highlighted the effect of household broadband performance on remote workers and children who use streaming services. The resident said both spouses work in technology and their children use gaming and streaming platforms.

“A lot of people nowadays are working remote. My husband and I both work in technology. We also have our kids that love gaming and streaming, you know, Netflix and all that kind of thing,” the resident said. “So with our current fiber offering, we haven't seen any slowdown at all.”

“All of those devices on and we haven't seen any lag and speeds has been incredible,” the resident added.
