Board approves claims, payroll, donations and minor transfers

Finance staff presented the claims docket totaling $140,767.07 and a payroll run totaling $67,028.83 (pay date March 7, payroll period Feb. 16–March 1). The board moved and approved payment of claims and payroll by voice vote.
Under gifts and donations, staff reported a $640 online donation via Wix.com and a $20,000 donation from the LaPorte County Convention & Visitors Bureau (LPCCVB) for the Great Lakes Grand Prix; the board accepted those gifts. The board also approved minor account transfers (admin contractual to legal) totaling $2,512 and accepted credit card charges totaling $890.83 for administrative supplies and permits. The zoo endowment invoice of $943.38 (see zoo article) was also accepted.
