The meeting convened at approximately 3:32 p.m. in Houston with members participating by videoconference. Lisonbee Thacker, a member of the KIPP Texas Executive Committee, presided briefly at the start and then handed the meeting to Allison Decker. Committee members who responded present on the record included Lauren Gore, Alex Sharma and Darla Whitaker; Ethan Phillips was noted as not present at the time the roll call was read. KIPP Texas staff listed on the record were Saba Ali, chief executive officer; Sun Han, chief financial officer; Jenna Moon, chief of staff; Anne Scott, chief talent officer; and Ellen Spalding, legal counsel.
