Gage County Board elects leadership, approves claims and holds closed session

The Gage County Board of Supervisors elected its leadership, approved routine claims and permits, and met in closed session during its Jan. 22 meeting.

The board elected Eric Timon chairman and Emily Haxby vice chairman by unanimous ballots. The board approved the consent agenda — including minutes, utility permits and a $881,616.14 slate of claims — and moved a separate vote on claim number 25010196 to Hard Rock Quarries LLC for $6,885.95.

That separate claim passed 6-0 with one abstention (Chair Eric Timon abstained).
