Hearing officer grants continuance to April 17, 2025; $80.22 administrative fee ordered

A hearing officer granted a continuance until April 17, 2025, and ordered an $80.22 administrative fee to be paid within seven days after a respondent asked for more time, the presiding official said during the proceeding.

The continuance followed a request by a representative for the respondent, who said the contractor likely could not attend the scheduled hearing and that the respondent had not provided required documentation as of Monday. The representative said, "If, in fact, our contractor cannot be here, Mr. Zahn, our engineer, will be here and we'll have those documents to be able to speak to the contractor's portion of it." The city told the hearing it had no objection to the continuance.

The hearing officer noted good cause had been shown and granted the continuance to April 17, 2025. The officer also ordered an administrative cost of $80.22 to be paid within seven days.

The matter will return to the hearing calendar on April 17, 2025.
