APC approves UZO change restricting who may seek BZA special‑exception terminations

Under the amendment, only a county administrative officer may file an application to terminate a special exception; the revision deletes language that would have permitted "an interested person" or a staff member to file.
An APC staff member summarized the change to members and said all three county administrative officers support the amendment and staff recommended approval. The commission recorded 14 ballots in favor and adopted the amendment.
