Board commentary and context

Interim CFO Chuck Linderman reported that Moody's reaffirmed the district's Aa1 credit rating; he noted strengths including steady enrollment, strong reserves and liquidity, and cautioned that maintaining reserves above roughly 30% of revenue will be important as the district executes its 10-year capital plan. Board members said many action items had been vetted in committee prior to the action meeting.
