The Vancouver School District Committee of the Whole on March 18 reviewed a recommendation that the school board approve amended Associated Student Body (ASB) constitution and bylaws for VSAA at the board's April 8 regular meeting.
Dr. Snell, speaking to the committee, said the ASB bylaw changes are part of the district's annual process for schools that add or rename clubs. "So this is on here with a recommendation that the board approve the amended constitution and bylaws," Dr. Snell said, noting a typographical error in the packet that referenced Columbia River High School instead of VSAA and that staff would correct it before April 8.
The changes were presented as routine, annual updates; no formal action or vote was taken at the March 18 meeting. The committee was asked to review the materials and raise any questions before the April 8 meeting when the board is scheduled to consider approval.
