Council approves zoning, contracts and roadway financing in unanimous votes

The council approved: (1) site-plan and lot-split approvals and variances for a manufacturing/warehouse project on Campus Drive (resolution 2025-088); (2) a conditional zoning certificate with variances for a Suncrest Gardens satellite operations site at 4811 Scarlet Lane (resolution 2025-089); (3) a $48,700 construction-management contract for the First Responders Memorial with Jolin Management (ordinance 2025-084); (4) contracts for off-site backup services (AetnaPlus) and city meeting software (Granicus); and (5) the issuance of three short-term notes to finance State Route 91 reconstruction, the Kent Road traffic signal project on State Route 59, and a $400,000 note related to the planned driving-range property.
