The resolution asks the governor and Legislature to appropriate $70 million payable to counties to increase state support for circuit court operations.
Supervisor Duffy moved the resolution; Supervisor Stacy Hessel seconded. The motion passed by voice vote.
County officials said the intent is to add Sawyer County’s voice to a statewide advocacy effort coordinated by the Wisconsin County Clerks Association and Wisconsin Counties Association.
