Trustees approve food‑truck rally license, a liquor‑permit non‑objection and appoint multiple zoning members

On Feb. 11 the West Chester Township Board of Trustees approved several non‑controversial event, permit and appointment items.
Trustees approved a license agreement with the Union Center Boulevard Merchants Association to use township property at 9285 Centerpoint Drive and ancillary roadways for the Union Center Food Truck Rally scheduled for June 6, 2025. The event runs 11 a.m.–10:30 p.m. and staff said the merchants association raises money for a local charity; trustees noted the date was moved earlier in June to pair with Founders Day and the Country Music Fest.
The board also accepted a motion not to object to a liquor permit (s t c k d 5 d 6 lit permit) for a restaurant operating as The Hanger at West Chester (Casey’s Jr. 2, Inc., doing business as The Hanger of West Chester) at 9292 Cincinnati‑Columbus Road, first floor and patio.
Separately, trustees appointed multiple members to the zoning bodies: Jerry (Gary) Stoker (regular term, Zoning Commission 06/01/2025–05/31/2030), Brian Asbrock (alternate 1, Zoning Commission 06/01/2025–05/31/2028), Hadeel Lababidi (alternate 2, Zoning Commission 03/01/2025–02/28/2028), Mike Meer (regular member, Board of Zoning Appeals 03/01/2025–02/28/2030), Mary Kay Rogers (alternate 1, Board of Zoning Appeals 03/01/2025–02/28/2028) and Angela Kemp (alternate 2, Board of Zoning Appeals 03/01/2025–02/28/2028). Trustees said all appointees were interviewed by trustees and performed well in interviews.
All motions for the license, the non‑objection and the appointments passed by roll call.
