West Chester Township promotes "Live the Dream" Martin Luther King Day event for Jan. 20

Gail Webster of 4308 Tylersville Road told trustees at the Jan. 14 meeting that West Chester Township will sponsor its 26th annual "Live the Dream" Martin Luther King Day observance on Monday, Jan. 20, 2025.
Webster said the event will begin with a community march at 9:30 a.m., starting at the Floor & Decor (former Cabela—s) parking lot in West Chester and move to Sabin Hall at Liberty Center in Liberty Township. The program at Sabin Hall will begin at 10 a.m.; Jackie Phillips Carter is scheduled as the keynote speaker. Webster said 584 students entered the "You Choose" contest and winners will be featured.
Webster described the event as free and open to the entire township. Her remarks were delivered during the board—s first citizen comment period.
