West Chester Township trustees elect Welch chair, Becker vice chair and set 2025 meeting schedule

The West Chester Township Board of Trustees elected Mr. Welch as chair and Mrs. Anne Becker as vice chair at its organizational meeting on Jan. 14, 2025, and voted to adopt the board—s regular 2025 meeting schedule.
The votes came during the board—s annual organizational session after the fiscal officer called roll and led the Pledge of Allegiance. Trustees nominated Becker for vice chair and Welch for chair; both nominations were approved by roll call votes.
The board also approved its standard meeting calendar for 2025: second and fourth Tuesdays of each month (with the November meeting on the first Tuesday and December meetings on the first and third Tuesdays). Trustees additionally approved trustee meeting minutes from Dec. 17, 2024, and payment of bills covering Dec. 7—Dec. 30, 2024.
These organizational actions followed the standard opening procedures for the board and clear the way for the trustees to proceed with the year—s business.
The board adjourned its regular meeting after completing the organizational items and then opened a public hearing on a zoning matter later in the evening.
