At the March 5 reconvened meeting of the Fairbanks North Star Borough Health and Social Services Commission, commissioners nominated and affirmed leadership for 2025 and approved the consent agenda by roll-call vote.
Commissioner Juanita Webb was the sole nominee for chair and assumed the position by unanimous nomination; Pamela was nominated and accepted the vice chair role with no other nominations recorded. The commission did not record a formal roll-call vote for the leadership appointments because each position had a single nominee and the body confirmed the appointments by acclamation.
Earlier in the meeting the commission approved the consent agenda, which consisted of item E1: the Health and Social Services Commission meeting minutes from Dec. 11, 2024. The motion to approve the agenda and consent agenda was made by Ms. Post and seconded by Ms. Webb. The clerk recorded a roll-call vote of seven yes, zero no; the motion carried 7-0.
The commission also announced the schedule for upcoming meetings: a special scoring session for HSCMG proposals on March 15, 2025 at 10 a.m. and the next regular meeting on April 9, 2025.
