She said she planned to continue to support students by assisting the person who fills her role and by coaching in other capacities, and she emphasized that her departure was bittersweet.
Don Summers told the board he was honored to accept the incoming leadership role and expressed a commitment to collaboration with district leadership and parents. The board did not take any formal personnel action during the public comment period.
