As a result of the retreat, the council tasked the city manager to prepare a plan and budgetary recommendations for seven priority projects drawn from the city’s new recreation master plan.
The council also convened a new recreation advisory group, completing an application and interview process. Officials said the advisory group’s meetings will be open to the public and that city communications will announce meeting times and agendas.
