Peachtree City’s police department notified the council Oct. 12 that bids for vehicle accessories were due that day and that staff will return to the council at the next meeting with recommended awards.
Police Chief Mood told the council the city will “award it to the lowest, best responsible, and response of bidder” and that final prices and the winning bidder will be provided for council consideration at the next meeting. Staff did not present bid amounts at the work session because bids were still due at 3 p.m. that day.
No procurement award was made at the work session because the bid process was not complete and the council lacked a quorum.
