Committee advances bill to allow Georgia law books to be published in hard copy or digital form

Representative Yerta presented House Bill 484 to the Senate Rules Committee on March 20 and asked the committee for favorable consideration.
"House bill 4 84 simply allows the Georgia law books, which are the tan books and some of your office rather than the black code books to be published in either hard copy or digital form," Representative Yerta said. He told the committee that maintaining a digital option "can improve accessibility, and, it may become more important as it becomes more difficult to find a cost effective publisher."
