At the March 25 Madison County Planning Commission workshop staff confirmed several items would move to joint public hearing with the Board of Supervisors on April 2: Black Cat Antiques (special use permit), the two rezoning requests (AC Limited Partnership; Jonathan Nichols rezoning), the subdivision application for tax map 42‑33, Jonathan Bond’s B‑1 rezoning, and the personal campground definition.
Staff reiterated outstanding items to resolve prior to public hearings — health department soil/percolation approvals, VDOT entrance plans, recorded road maintenance agreements, and finalized plats for rezoning boundaries. The commission did not take final actions on the substantive land‑use items at the workshop; each case is scheduled for public hearing.
At the end of the meeting a procedural motion to adjourn was moved and seconded; the chair called the vote in which the commission voiced “aye” with no recorded opposition.
