Public Works staff member Chris presented the project plan and said the work covers a speed table installation on Gardner Lane and chip sealing on Holly Street, Casey Street, Kirby Street and Easy Street. He told the council the contractor expects to complete the work quickly — roughly one week under favorable weather — and staff will notify affected residents with a street-by-street schedule.
Council members asked about driveability after chip sealing and the timeline; staff said warmer weather shortens cure time. Staff also said the city had already completed crack sealing and will provide residents with advance notice. The council approved the contract by voice vote.
