Board approves liaison appointment, travel requests and postpones book-study discussion

The board approved seven instructional student travel requests and one athletic travel request in a single motion moved by Trustee Shealy and seconded by Trustee Pizzuti; the motion carried by voice vote.
Trustee Flashnick moved to postpone the scheduled book-study discussion to another time; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
All three motions were approved by voice vote during the workshop; no roll-call tallies were recorded in the workshop transcript.
