Applicant David Belotte spoke at the public hearing and said he and his partner Christina (referred to in the record as Christy/Christian) already own both parcels and requested the replat specifically “to get the water well within that property line.” City staff said the Planning & Zoning Commission unanimously approved the replat on March 3 and that police, fire and utility departments had no concerns.
A council member moved to approve the replat as presented; another council member seconded the motion. The council voted 6‑0 to approve the replat.
