Dermody told the committee that accepting staff recommendations could risk partial reopening of the partnership agreement, but that any reopening could be limited to the particular items at issue.
A committee member asked whether the committee—s choice would open the larger agreement; Dermody said there was a risk but that the department would likely only reopen the specific items. The vice chair moved the staff recommendation; the motion passed with one objection (5-1).
