The resident asked whether the village board supported the referendum; the official said trustees as individuals may support it but the village government is not the sponsor and does not administer the referendum.
Board members and staff did not take any formal action on the item during the meeting. The official suggested looking up Campton Township's open-space program or calling the township office for specifics, noting township staff may be out in the field during good weather.
Because the matter is a township referendum, the village has no authority to allocate or administer the referenced funds; residents seeking details were directed to Campton Township.
