County engineer asks supervisors to approve annual weight embargo and bid notices for dust control and resurfacing

Bateau also asked the board to approve publishing notices to bidders for two routine contracts: the 2025 Dust Control Safety Program, which applies calcium chloride to about 10 miles of higher‑volume gravel road (sites selected for intersections, bridges and limited sight distance), and the 2025 bituminous resurfacing/seal coat program covering roughly 18–20 miles. He requested a bid letting date of March 11, 2025, at 9 a.m. and staff will bring the required resolutions for formal adoption next Thursday.
