Chief Sallela announced that the village will host or support a Saint Baldrick's fundraiser on Saturday, March 22, from noon to 4 p.m. at 30 Nellie's in Palatine; the event benefits pediatric cancer research. Clerk Brady provided information on early voting for the April 1, 2025 consolidated election, noting traditional early voting runs March 17'31 and that first-time registrants or voters changing address must present two forms of ID with one showing their current address. Trustee Vito reported that the Wheeling Wildcats mock-trial team finished in the state top 10 for the second year and congratulated team advisors and staff.
