County staff reported the Northwest Wing renovation at Graysdale is nearly complete and that crews are preparing to move residents back in.
The work removed failing VCT flooring and replaced it with epoxy throughout hallways on both the first and second floors, repainted entire floors while the wing was vacant, and removed obsolete tubs in bathroom areas to provide more usable space for nursing staff. The presenter said operations and maintenance staff also completed site work and the remaining tasks are minor.
When asked, presenters said the project is on time and on budget. Staff indicated preparations are underway to move residents back into the renovated wing.
