County recommends H&K Group to repave Criminal Administration Building parking lot

Staff recommended awarding a contract to H&K Group to mill and repave the parking lot serving the Criminal Administration Building and the Sally Port entrance for the juvenile justice center.
The recommendation, presented to the Northampton County Capital Projects and Operations Committee on March 19, says two bids were received and the apparent low bid was “just under 87,000,” and staff said the job is expected to start this spring and take less than a week.
Mike Grafredo, a county staff member who presented the update, said the project covers repaving the existing lot and the Sally Port entrance. Committee members asked about the project duration; Grafredo replied the work should last less than a week.
No formal vote was recorded during the update; staff told the committee they expect construction to begin in spring and that the county issued a recommendation to award the contract to H&K Group.
