Glynn County says Frederica–Sea Island roundabout design proceeding; project will use a narrow strip of parkland

Glynn County Manager Bill Fallon said the Frederica Road–Sea Island Road roundabout, which was approved and funded in 2022, is advancing toward final design and will affect a small portion of nearby parkland.
“First of all, it was approved back in 2022, and it was funded back then,” Fallon said on the Good News Glenn television segment. He added that designers have balanced multiple considerations, including utility placement and sight lines for vehicles and pedestrians.
