The Cheyenne Finance Committee on March 18 recommended that the City Council approve a transfer and several liquor-license applications, including a transfer of a parked retail license for F and G Corporation doing business as the Green Door.
Kylie Soden, city clerk, told the committee the transfer request for the Green Door — moving a parked retail liquor license from 301 (316) East Lincoln Way to 255 Story Boulevard — “has been reviewed by the Wyoming Liquor Division and the city clerk’s office, and requirements for the transfer have been met.”
The committee’s vote followed questions about the license’s future use and local setback rules. Ben Trawein, a representative of F and G Corporation, said he is holding the license at his office at 255 Story Boulevard after the original building was sold and that his intent is to sell the license or possibly open it elsewhere. “We are holding it at my current office building 255 Story Boulevard in order to sell the license or perhaps open at another location,” Trawein…
