City staff said the bucket is specific to a model the city no longer uses and that a prospective buyer has inquired about it.
Separately, the council approved a resolution to execute a contract to buy a parcel at 794 North Fifth Avenue (parcel number 16‑09‑32‑107‑002) from the county tax trustee for $797. City counsel said the parcel had gone through the tax sale after a house fire and demolition; the parcel will be conveyed to the adjacent used‑car dealership owner, who intends to incorporate the lot into the dealership’s footprint and asphalt it. The council approved the purchase by voice vote (13 ayes, 0 nays).
