Nick Grock, of 4461 Conestoga Road, used the public-comment period to thank Charlestown Elementary School staff and its PTO for welcoming newly assigned students after redistricting and for work on playground facilities. He said his daughters are “exceedingly happy” at Charlestown and praised Principal Piquel and staff for their outreach.
Grock offered to assist pro bono with solicitation of bids for playground design and construction to help ensure equivalent facilities across the district. He said he has discussed playground concerns with district administrators, including Principal Patel and board member Dave Barrett, and expressed willingness to help coordinate volunteer or professional resources.
Grock concluded the public comment by announcing he will run as an independent candidate for the Great Valley School District school board. He identified himself as a licensed architect and construction project manager and said his campaign focus will be on facilities planning and maintaining schedules and budgets for district construction projects.
