Spalding County staff briefly presented the final plat for the Rova Rock Farm 16‑lot minor subdivision (parcels 23405001, 23405002A and 23405002B) at the intersection of Rex Road, Mary Brook Road and Georgia Highway 362.
Staff said the subdivision remains in AR‑1 zoning, the zoning has not changed, and all lots meet AR‑1 code standards. The planning commission previously approved the preliminary plat on Dec. 5; the construction phase required two fire hydrants, which staff reported were installed the prior week. Staff recommended approval of the final plat and indicated no legal objections were raised by county counsel during the work session.
The item was advanced for consideration on the consent/regular meeting agenda later in the evening; no vote was taken at the work session.
