Board approves Analytical Mechanics Associates for VSBA honor roll, submits HCS Instructional Toolkit for innovation award

Miss Gorel (administration) described the two VSBA items and asked that the board move both from deliberation to action because of a VSBA deadline. "This year, we are recommending Analytical Mechanics Associates," she said, citing the company's volunteer and fundraising support since February 2022. The board approved moving the items to action after a motion by Mr. Kilgore, seconded by Mr. Samuels.
Later on the action agenda, Miss Afongia moved to approve the two VSBA items; Mr. Kilgore seconded that motion. The board approved both nominations by roll call vote.
Ending: School staff will submit the nomination materials to VSBA and follow up per VSBA instructions.
