Council adopts 2025 Crest Hill zoning map with five changes noted in staff memo

The Crest Hill City Council approved a resolution adopting the 2025 zoning map for the city.
Economic and community development director Patrick Haynesworth presented the map and said staff summarized five changes from the prior year. He thanked the clerk’s office for collecting related ordinances, resolutions and PUD paperwork for the map update. An alderman moved to adopt the map; the council approved the resolution by roll-call vote and the clerk assigned Resolution 1293.
Haynesworth told council he would take questions on the map; council members asked no substantive changes during the meeting. Staff said the map and accompanying memo are available on the city website.
The adopted map will guide zoning and development decisions until the next formal amendment or map adoption process.
