The City Council approved a resolution authorizing staff to submit a loan application under the Illinois Water Supply Loan Program for the “CIPP Water Main Rehabilitation — Phase 1 Improvement.”
City Engineer Ryan Weideman presented the resolution and asked for council action. An alderperson moved and a second followed; the council approved the resolution by roll-call vote and the clerk announced the motion carried, recorded as Resolution 1292.
Weideman framed the resolution as a standard financing step to pursue state loan support for the water-main rehabilitation project; the council did not alter the project scope during the meeting. Staff will proceed with the loan application process as authorized by the resolution.
