The Macedonia City Council on March 19 approved a package of eight measures — Resolutions 13 and 14 and Ordinances 15 through 20 — authorizing plans, bids, specifications and contracts for park, stormwater and road projects and adopting the current compensation schedule for non‑union city employees. The council met at 12:15 p.m. for a short special session and passed each item by voice vote.
Council members moved the measures forward without recorded opposition. Mayor said the items were time‑sensitive and needed prompt action to keep road and repair projects on schedule: "There's some very time sensitive things in these ordinances today that we had to get done, in order to rectify our road program and some of the major repairs that we have upcoming," the Mayor said.
