Aldermen representing the area and committee chairs said local businesses — named examples included Paisano’s and Delvinari’s Bakery — want a durable long-term fix rather than repeated patches.
Both items were referred to the Public Works Committee for further discussion of scope, funding and scheduling. Committee referral will allow staff to present cost estimates and funding pathways.
