West Bend City awarded two construction contracts on March 17 to complete major street and utility work on Kilbourne Avenue/Third Avenue and Edgewood Lane, a city staff presenter told the Board of Public Works.
The awards—recommended after bid review—authorize comprehensive reconstruction that will replace sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, curb and gutter, sidewalk and asphalt and include replacement of public and private lead water laterals under an agreement with Washington County.
