The Riverton City Council approved payment of claims and payroll totaling $614,498.08 following a Finance Committee recommendation at its March 4 meeting.
The Finance Committee met at 6:45 p.m. and forwarded consideration of claims ‘‘to be paid’’ in the amount of $122,306.04 and payroll and liabilities for $492,192.04 for a combined total of $614,498.08. Councilwoman Rebecca Pearson Lewis moved to accept the Finance Committee’s recommendation; Councilwoman Carla Borders seconded. The motion passed by voice vote.
Councilman Eric Carr noted the committee recommendation at the council meeting before the consent agenda vote. Council members abstained where required (one abstention on approval of minutes was recorded separately). The council then approved the consent agenda, which included the Finance Committee recommendation, by voice vote.
No additional discussion or changes to the claims were recorded on the meeting record. The Finance Committee and city staff indicated there were no further items to add.
