At its March 17 meeting the Lawrenceburg City Council received a status update on planned tennis-court work and approved the Lawrenceburg Redevelopment Commission (LRC) annual report; the council also approved claims that included a refund of unspent CCMG 2023-2 grant funds to NDOT as part of claims processing.
Councilmember Dylan Little reported that the top-of-the-hill tennis courts remain on schedule for early May; staff said the coatings company will not resume work until consistent daytime temperatures are regularly above the contractor's minimum (the contractor indicated work will not resume until May). Council members said they would continue to update the public as dates firm.
Council then voted to approve the LRC report, a required annual submission, and later approved claims and payroll. During the claims discussion the clerk and mayor noted a CCMG 2023-2 grant project came in under budget and the unspent portion would be refunded to NDOT; the council added that item to the claims and approved the packet. The meeting record shows voice votes carrying each motion; the transcript does not list a roll-call tally for these votes.
No changes to project scope, additional funding allocations, or revised timelines beyond the May estimate for court work were recorded at the meeting.
