The Emeryville City Council took several procedural votes during its March 18 meeting and reported out of closed session.
At 6:46 p.m. the council convened a closed session for items 5.1 and 5.2. When the council returned at 7:17 p.m., City Attorney Michael Kennedy reported: “There was no reportable action taken in closed session tonight.”
During the open meeting the council voted to approve the final agenda as amended (the council moved item 4.3 to be heard first). The roll-call vote on the amended final agenda recorded ayes from Councilmember Preyforce, Councilmember Solomon, Councilmember Welch, Vice Mayor John Carr and Mayor Dianne Mora; the motion carried.
The council also approved the consent calendar by roll call. The recorded votes for the consent calendar were Aye from Councilmember Preyforce, Councilmember Solomon, Councilmember Welch, Vice Mayor John Carr and Mayor Dianne Mora; the motion carried.
Ending: These procedural approvals were unanimous in the recorded roll calls and no substantive ordinance or resolution was adopted during those votes.
