The Lafayette City Council on March 18 approved, by unanimous roll‑call votes, a package of organizational and sustainability measures and a construction change order. The council passed on first reading an ordinance to let the city administrator establish, combine, reorganize and abolish administrative departments; approved two intergovernmental agreement amendments with Boulder County to expand business recycling and reusable foodware incentives; adopted a resolution recognizing the global climate emergency and affirming local climate action; and approved change order No. 3 to the 2025 citywide concrete rehabilitation contract.
