The board received a brief update on the district's Clean Energy Advisory Committee. The committee held its first meeting since passage of a prior resolution and is refocusing on next steps, including community input and progress tracking.
Cale (staff) said the group is "re-engaging" and will invite guests to future meetings and consider surveying the community, students and staff to identify desired outcomes and priorities. The committee also plans monthly meetings going forward and will monitor progress toward the resolution's goals. "We're inviting some guests in at our next meeting looking potentially to survey our community, students, staff to see what they would like to see outcomes of this committee," Cale said.
Ending: Board members had no substantive questions and thanked the committee for the update; staff will return with next meeting reports and any proposed engagement materials.
