The Community Public Safety Advisory Board introduced Kenneth Morgan as a new board member and announced a public forum for Ward 6 on March 26 at the Capitol Hill Library in Oklahoma City.
Kenneth Morgan said he has lived in Oklahoma City his entire life and is "looking forward to serving with you all and being a part of this board," remarks he made after being welcomed by the meeting facilitator. Other board members introduced themselves by name and ward: Kenny Lyles; Richard Stewart, Ward 6; and Bill Tudor, Ward 8.
The board said the Ward 6 public forum will be held at the Capitol Hill Library (address read during the meeting as "327 Southwest 20 Seventh Street") from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The facilitator invited all members of the public to attend whether or not they are residents of Ward 6.
Before entering closed session to review cases, the board approved the minutes from a prior meeting. The meeting record shows a motion was made and the facilitator said "All those in favor? K. Minutes are approved." The transcript does not record a named mover, a seconder, or a roll-call tally for that approval.
There was no public comment recorded before the closed session. After the closed session the board announced its plan to send letters to the chief of police regarding personnel investigations and then adjourned.
