Council approves two audit committee appointments in unanimous vote

Council member Ritchie moved to adopt the consent items that included the audit committee appointments described in proposed resolution 2025-55; Council member Myers seconded the motion. The council took a roll call vote; Council member Blair, Council member Jabirka, Council member Graff, Council member Myers, Council member Ritchie, Vice Chair Hyer and Chair White all voted "Aye." The council chair declared the motion passed.
Jared Stevens, one of the appointed members who appeared at the meeting, told the council he has worked as an accountant for about a decade and described the appointment as an opportunity to serve the community. The minutes approval and other consent items were also adopted as part of the consent agenda.
The council did not identify any conditions or amendments to the appointments during the roll call vote.
