The Budget & Finance Committee on May 20 approved BL 20 25 dash 706, an ordinance authorizing two greenway conservation easements between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting through the Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation, and Rogers Group Incorporated for greenway improvements.
Councilmember Toombs moved a housekeeping amendment to add the second conservation easement that had been inadvertently left off the original document; Director Darby of planning staff described the amendment as a housekeeping correction. The amendment passed 10-0, and the ordinance as amended passed 10-0.
The committee did not discuss substantive changes to the easement scope beyond the correction to the map/documentation; the item will proceed per standard easement execution procedures by the parks department and the involved private party.
